(“SeaFort”) announced today that it has acquired Jardine Transport Ltd (“Jardine”).  Jardine is a Fredericton-based long-haul trucking business that specializes in flatbed and drop-deck services. Founded in 1978 by Mr. Robert Leonard, Jardine has developed a reputation as a reliable operator. The Company services a broad customer base in Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, Western Canada and the Northeastern United States.

SeaFort today also announced the appointment, effective immediately, of Dion Cull as President of Jardine. Mr. Cull will assume leadership of the company from Mr. Leonard, who will retire.
